Gettin' crackin' in the low season
That time off sure was nice, but enough of fatty American fair food and smooth roads. We are back in Gigante and cracking away at the low season.
Conditions are looking good at Amarillo for intermediate surfers as the wind has been steadily lightly offshore with waist high waves and it looks like we are in for more of the same in the coming weeks.
The rains have hung around a little longer this year than normal. They are throwing a bit of a wrench in our ‘new roof’ plans, but it’s good for the wells and fields so we’ll take it. It’s just a refreshing ten to twenty minute splash late in the afternoon, anyway.
